Not for me

Stopped in the MAC store on Friday and was sadly disappointed by the very small corner of a display table that the new Lilly products occupied. I anticipated a big splashy, fun, colorful display. Didn't appear as though the worker bees were too excited about the new offering either. Perhaps the Lilly colors clash with the red, spiked hair and the nose piercings.

As much as I love all things Lilly, this collaboration doesn't work for me, but perhaps I'm not the target audience. What do/did you think?

  1. Every time I go to the MAC store/counter there are more men than women in there. Everyone is wearing massive amounts of glitter, tattoos, piercings up the yin yang, etc. When I first heard about the collaboration I thought it was a bit odd. So glad to hear I'm not the only one.

  2. I agree. While I swear by MAC Studiofix (and try to find the least freaky looking sales associate to help me when I need a refill), I do not see MAC and Lilly in the same genre. Did you go to the MAC store on the south side of Somerset or one of the department stores? I find Nordstrom to be the best because I feel the least out of place there! The MAC store makes me feel like I missed the memo stating men need to wear more makeup than me and I should get my nose pierced!

  4. You really do have a great blog here. I have a blog myself which brings inspiration and guidance to people all around the world. Life is hard enough, and I hope my site can contribute anything positive to someone's day.

I'd like to exchange links with you to help spread some traffic around between each other. Please let me know if this is possible. Until then, keep up the good work.
